Courses for Private People

The private one-to-one course has a higher efficiency / cost rate than a group class: the teacher builds the course based on the level, the pace of learning and the special requests of the student. The time spent on each subject is tailored as required to the unique needs of the student, with emphasis on his weaknesses.

The student participates in deciding the content of her / his course. This can cover the basic aspects of language (necessary to reach a level of «specialization») that some professionals may require, language related to business and every-day life in the workplace, language specific to an area of professional activity (business language, for example), the preparation of language exams or preparation for a job interview etc.

When registering, the student may, if desired, create a "personalized class" by incorporating more friends (maximum 4) at the same level. The hourly course price is the same as the one-to-one course - the per-capita-price is thus the hourly price divided by the number of participants - but a small fee for the teaching materials and the registration (a flat rate) must be paid for each additional student.

To ensure the best pedagogical results, the group must be approved by the school after each student has taken a written and oral test to determine the level (we recommend that all students have the same level and share the same goals and expectations). Ideally the number of participants per class should not exceed 4 people. The course description is the same as that for the one-to-one courses for private people.

Courses are held in very small groups of 4 to 6 students with the same level. The curriculum for the group courses was developed by our school and ensures rapid progress in learning and use of language.

Group courses focus on communication. The courses deal, level by level, with the various aspects of daily life: asking for directions, shopping, consulting the menu card and ordering in a restaurant, answering the phone, reading and understanding an article from a newspaper, listening and understanding a radio or television program and having discussions on various topics.

The program includes the study of basic grammar and its application through written and oral exercises, but it focuses mainly on improving the oral level.

At the end og level 1, the student is able to communicate confidenly and effectively and has the ability to handle basic situations in everyday life, as the student acquires the knowledge and therefore confidence, allowing him to speak more effectively.

At the end of the last level, the students may, if desired, take private lessons to complement their training in the areas of their choice such as the development of writing, grammar, learning a business language, preparing for exams language and translation.

If you don't have a lot of time or you quickly need to learn a foreign language, , whether for work, a business trip or an exam, or if you need to implement some practical and specific vocabulary (business, financial, etc.), we're here to help!
Our full-immersion courses in one or two weeks, taught by dynamic and effective teachers, provide excellent results.

We offer:

• A balanced schedule: 4 hours (morning) or 6 hours (3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon) per day.
• A program tailored to your needs.
• A structured program inluding oral exercises.

Finally, we advise that the courses are held in our premises. However if the student wishes, the lessons may be elsewhere, in which case the travel costs of the teacher are charged (from € 15 / lesson, depending on distance).

THE CURRICULUM OF THE COURSE IS ADAPTED TO THE SPECIFIC NEEDS OF THE ONLY ONE STUDENT OR OF THE GROUP OF FRIENDS.

During School Holidays periods, and mainly during the summer, we offer a special 2 weeks intensive program for group courses - FRENCH, DUTCH and ENGLISH - (morning or evening sessions).

During this period we continue offering all the other types of courses - ANY LANGUAGE - (one-to-one, courses for a group of friends, total immersion, etc, as well as our complete Courses for students from Companies programs)

For those who have a busy agenda. This unique program allows the student to advance without losing time.

These courses help improve oral and comprehension levels in the language studied. However, this system does not exclude written exercises and assignments by FAX/e-mail.

The lessons are organized in a well-defined program, based on the results of a written and oral test, and adapted to the needs and objectives of the student. The course can also consist of simple discussions if the student wishes.

The teacher will call the student at a predetermined time, and the lesson will last for 30 minutes. We can offer a combination of a classic one-to-one course (both the teacher and the student are present) and a course by telephone, SKYPE, etc.
